Creating a Community: Cabin Branch

by Kinsley,

In 2014, the Cabin Branch community in Clarksburg, Maryland, was nothing more than an empty lot. Six years, 20 projects and over two million cubic yards of dirt later, the community now includes hundreds of single-family homes and townhomes, a community clubhouse and a playground near the Black Hill Regional Park.

To transform the 500-acre site, Winchester Homes needed a contractor they could trust to deliver quality work while keeping their best interests in mind. With multiple referrals and a reputation as the industry expert, Kinsley’s Site team was selected to develop the community for families to flourish.

Over the years, our work has included constructing a 900,000 gallon-per-day pump station, installing off- and on-site underground utilities, constructing an access road to the community and paving parking lots. We also developed a park area within the community which included installation of soccer fields, a play area, walking trails, bike trails and surrounding sidewalks.

Impressed with our work throughout every project, Winchester Homes has continued to call on us to deliver every phase of site work. Today, we have a strong relationship with Winchester Homes and are continuing to partner with them to develop the community.
